RINALDO HORSESHOEING
ABOUT US
More than 28 years ago, Toby Rinaldo set out to learn how to shoe his own horse. When mentorship and instruction weren’t readily offered, he taught himself—studying anatomy and theory through correspondence courses, then putting that knowledge to work on a working ranch with nearly 100 horses. There was no shortcut. Just hands-on experience and a growing understanding of how every decision under a horse’s feet affects how they move, feel, and live.
What began organically soon became a calling. Toby apprenticed where he could, sought out education across disciplines, and committed himself to one simple standard: every horse should walk away better than when it arrived. That principle has guided his work ever since.
Today, Toby is all-in on building not just a business, but a team: a multi-farrier operation rooted in horsemanship, welfare, and thoughtful, honest work.

OUR VALUES
The Horse Comes First—Always
Every decision we make starts and ends with the horse. We believe shoeing should make a horse’s way of going easier, freer, and more comfortable—not just today, but long-term.
Open Minds Make Better Farriers
One of the most significant limitations in this industry is a closed mind. Horses don’t read rulebooks, and no certification or technique has all the answers. We value continued learning, adaptability, and the willingness to rethink an approach when the horse tells us something different.
Consistency, Communication, and Respect
Showing up on time. Doing the same quality work at the end of the day as at the beginning. Communicating clearly with owners, trainers, and vets. These things matter. Skill means little without reliability and respect for the people who trust us with their horses.
Collaboration
We work closely with vets, trainers, and owners to support the horse as a whole.
